i would go for the person. but it goes down deeper if you do get marry and have kids. how will you raise your kids? who's culture will they learn? both? it's not always the easiest thing to settle.

love shouldn't invovle religion, i've tried it before, but for me, i feel more comfortable with someone who has the same religion, although i will not use religion between us, but the question is, will he use religion betweeen us and not just that, will he give my family and religion the same respect as I'll give his.. if he cannot respect my family and our religion than that means he does not repect me enough to be with me, therefore, why would i be with soemone who cannot even accpet me and my religion..

Religion eh? I don't find it as a big problem. I would ask him more questions on why they converted or atleast know the past. I think it's best to know that person first with their religion than going straight into a relationship. Also, it's all about respect too. I'm sure everyone's the same when one speaks negative about their beliefs.

If he says religion doesn't matter then I say its okay, go for it. But this is the thing, what if his family prefer him to date his own kind, what then? Would you still go for him anyway? |

Your right, its probably a good thing to ask more about their religion and how dedicated they are to their beliefs. Some Christian are just very into their religion that, from my opinion, gets truly annoying that its pointless to be with them. |
